Workspace Setup
How to Set Up an Ergonomic DoorDash Workspace
A practical starting point for better posture, comfort, and focus throughout the workday.

Start With a Neutral Posture
Place your feet flat, relax your shoulders, and set the keyboard so your elbows remain comfortably near your sides.
Adjust the chair first, then align the desk tools around a posture you can maintain without strain.
Position the Screen Correctly
Set the top third of the display near eye level and keep the screen roughly an arm?s length away.
A monitor stand or adjustable arm can create the right viewing height while preserving usable desk space.
Keep Input Devices Close
Keep the keyboard and mouse close enough that the upper arms stay relaxed and the wrists remain neutral.
Choose input devices based on hand size, task type, and the amount of continuous use during the day.
Support Movement
Change position regularly and use short movement breaks instead of relying on one perfect static posture.
Alternate between focused work, calls, and standing or walking when the role and workspace allow it.
Use Filters to Narrow Choices
Use category, location, price, and clinical-score information to compare products with similar purposes.
Verify model details and availability before ordering, especially when equipment must be sourced across regions.
Reassess comfort after several days because small height and distance changes can have a meaningful effect.
